Our production
Production of genuine leather is a very labor-intensive process the raw material for which is cattle hides. Production cycle for the high-quality genuine leather, from the raw material to finished product, consists of many technological processes.
Leather production technology
The main processes of leather production are:
At the final stages of these processes, the following equipment is used:
- Rizzi setting out machine: it is used for sammying and setting out of the semi-finished product after dyeing and fatliquoring: this equipment is also used to partially remove moisture and straighten wrinkles on the leather;
- Incoma vacuum dryer: it is used to remove moisture in the crust leather before it goes into the pole drying tunnel for drying;
- Cartigliano staking machine: it is used to make leather elastic and soft.
The following equipment is used for finishing operations at the tannery:
- Barnini spraying line: it is used to apply the coating of the required colour and shade. This process is carried out by spraying of the coating mixture;
- Mostardini press: it helps to fix the finishing coating on the surface;
- Bergi buffing machine: it is used to give the material a "writing" effect;
- Through-feed combipresses "Star Plus" and "Gemata".
After finishing the finished product is sent to the laboratory to be checked for compliance with the technical specifications. Then the leather is sorted out and measured by area, after which it is packed and sent to the customer..
