What is leather embossing? Embossing (pressing, cutting of the grain) is a processing method, which is one of the final operations, it evens the front surface, gives it shine and beautiful appearance, and also increases the adhesion of the coating to the skin.

There are two main pressing methods:

  • Pressing on a hydraulic press, where the skin is placed between two plates (fixed and movable pressure);
  • Pressing on ironing machines, where the leather passes between two rotating shafts or between a shaft and a fixed plane.

This type of leather processing requires high technical training of a specialist, because on different equipment and for different plates, a certain temperature, pressure and pressing time are set. Despite the fact that leather products have a very beautiful aesthetic appearance, different types of leather embossing are used to give them a more presentable look and variety. Our company uses several types of plates in production, namely:

  • Dolarino stove
  • Dolar stove
