Embossing or pressing is a method of leather processing (one of the final operations) during which the grain surface of the leather is leveled and as the result it obtains shining and beautiful look.

Decorative embossing is performed on special presses, where a plate with a specific pattern is heated and pressed onto the leather under high pressure.
